Boulard83 4 Posted April 20, 2012 La "mystérieuse" carte du facebook de Nvidia est belle et bien la futur GTX690. Les spec sont aussi pas mal ce qui était spéculé. The first picture of NVIDIA’s Upcoming flagship GeForce GTX 690 has been unveiled. A day earlier, NVIDIA showed a teaser for an upcoming announcement, Sweclockers later confirmed that it was the GeForce GTX 690 which would be the Dual chip flagship GPU which launches in early May. The picture shows the card from its rear, Its quite long and has a cooler shroud similar to the one we saw on GeForce GTX 680. A single blower fan provides air to the interior components. Its unknown whether NVIDIA would equip each core with its own vapor chamber like the GTX 590 cooling design. Power would be supplied through dual 8 pin connectors. Specifications include two GK104 chips equaling 3072 Cuda core and a 4GB GDDR5 256-bit memory. TDP is said to be around 300W. More details are expected to arrive by the end of this month. Boulard83 4 Posted April 27, 2012 NVIDIA launched its first Kepler graphics card “GeForce GTX 680″ last month, Now the company is going to release a second Kepler Gk104 chip based product known as the GeForce GTX 670. According to sources, It is suggested that NVIDIA would launch the card in early May though an announcement is expected during the NVIDIA Gaming festival in Shanghai, China. on 28th April. While GTX 680 used the GK104-400-A2 codename, GTX 670 will be the GK104-335-A2. It isn’t clear if NVIDIA would use the Ti branding with the name however a $249 SKU is also expected based on the GK104 die. Price of the GeForce GTX 670 would be set at $399. The GK104-335-A2 would have one of its SMX cluster disabled which would total 7 compared to the 8 Streaming Multiprocessors on the GTX 680. This would mean that the card packs a total of 1344 Cuda cores, 112TMU, 32ROP, 2GB 256bit memory. Power would be provided through dual 6 Pin connectors, there would also be a major change to the PCB design. The length of the PCB would be equal to the GTS 450 length which may mean that a lot of power circuitry would either be removed or re-arranged in a compact design. Performance of the GTX 670 would be slightly better than the HD 7950 and GTX 580 and would have much better performance efficiency then both. 3DMark 11 score result at Xtreme preset is around X2600 Marks. Also if NVIDIA does launch a Non-Ti or another cut down version of the 670, it would feature only single power connector, 1152 Cores due to two disabled SMX units and a cut down 192-bit memory, Price as we suggested around $249. GeForce GTX 690, The dual Gk104 flagship is also expected to be announced tomorrow and we can see the launch of the 670′s in the first two weeks of May.
